Both Youtube and Vimeo already let you create playlists, but with Dropmark, you can mix the two together and create the ultimate video mashup. Stitch together some videos from YouTube, create a collaborative music video playlist, make a quick demo reel, and enjoy the best of the YouTube and Vimeo communities.

Using the Dropmark Sidebar (install the browser extension from your My Account panel), you can simply drag in video links right from YouTube or Vimeo. Watch our screencast above to see it in action.

Using Dropmark: Sync with iPhoto

Using Dropmark

In the last screencast, we showed you how to create a simple, collaborative photo album using Dropmark. In this post, we’ll take it a step further and show you how to automatically sync your photos from Dropmark to iPhoto on a Mac.

Using Dropmark: Collaborative photo albums

Using Dropmark

Creating a simple online photo album is easy with Dropmark.

You can drag and drop your photos right from your desktop—even from desktop applications like iPhoto—and Dropmark will upload and create a beautiful slideshow for you. View it in glorious full screen if your browser supports it (use the Command+Shift+F shortcut in Chrome or Firefox, or F11 in Internet Explorer).

You always have full control over the privacy. Keep it private, or set your collection to public and share it with the world.

Invite your closest friends, family, and contacts, and they’ll be able to collaborate on your collection and upload shots you might have missed. Whether it’s from their computer, or even online sources like Flickr or Instagram.

Using Dropmark: Creating a collection of websites

Using Dropmark

In this first installment of Using Dropmark, we’ll show you how to turn a handful of links into a useful, collaborative collection.

Let’s say you are researching some restaurants for an upcoming trip with a friend. Instead of e-mailing a dozen websites to your friend, create a Dropmark collection and add your links—or drag and drop right from your web browser, e-mail, or pretty much anywhere.

You can invite your friend to collaborate on your collection, allowing them to add and help organize the items. You can also choose to make your collection public (by default, Dropmark collections are private), and share it with the world. Dropmark automatically creates a unique shortlink for each collection (ie. http://drp.mk/Qp) making sharing extremely simple.
